ANSI has announced first accreditation of U.S. certification body offering certification under ISO 3834 – Quality Requirements for Welding. ISO 3834 provides method for manufacturers or fabricators to demonstrate that they have met relevant quality requirements related to welding. Illinois-based DOT Quality Services was also certified to offer certification in connection with welding of metallic materials, including arc welding and resistance welding.
