Michael Brandt, senior staff manager, quality systems, at Alcoa Inc., has received ASTM International Award of Merit for exceptional and sustained leadership and technical contributions within Committee B07 on Light Metals and Alloys. A member of ASTM since 2004, Brandt currently serves as Committee B07 recording secretary. He is also secretary of Subcommittee B07.01 on Aluminum Alloy Ingots and Castings and chairs U.S. TAG National Committee for ISO/TC 79 on Light Metals and Alloys.
