Aberdeen oil services firm makes record profit despite crude price slump

PLEXUS Holdings, the well technology firm, has achieved record profits in a year when the oil and gas industry was rocked by the plunge in the crude price. Aberdeen-based Plexus made A 5.9 million pre-tax profit in the year to June compared with A 5.4m in the preceding year.
