Acquisitions pay off for Mueller

According to the company's third quarter earnings, the acquisitions of New Market, Virginia-based Howell Metal Co. and Yorkshire Copper Tube, which is based in the United Kingdom, have helped Mueller increase its net income to $23.8 million, or 42 cents per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2014.
