The Bremen office of our client is the industrial centre of excellence for human spaceflight, launchers and space robotics in Europe. Key projects here are contributions towards the International Space Station ISS, the development of rocket stages and in the area of robotics the gentle and safe landing of spacecraft. The jobholder is responsible for the engineering in development of digital Avionics components and architectures to be applied in orbital systems and furthermore for the following tasks Tasks and Responsibilities Analysis of client requirements and evaluation of technical as well as financial effects Design, layout and specification of products, subsystems and systems according to customer requirements ECSS using specification tools Development of technical concepts and their description Definition of the validation approach Preparation of technical analysis and technical budgets Definition of interfaces and analysis of interdependencies internal and external Technical coordination and control of interfaces and external suppliers Control of subsystems regarding technical requirements, functionality, reliability and processes Design and production of technical documentation development and test plans, descriptions, verification documents, etc. Conducting technical meetings and reviews to clients and or Subcontractors Definition of qualification and acceptance tests including test support Analysis and assessment of test results. Requirements Completed professional education in electrical engineering, space technology, information technology or comparable qualification Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels Independent, structured and accurate work, for fast and direct target achievement Minimum of 2 years professional as Avionics Systems Engineer Knowledge in spacespecific processes is desirable Detailed knowledge of embedded systems, bus systems and processors Knowledge of digital communication standards e.g. Time Triggered, USB, Ethernet, SpaceWire or WiFi Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing Proficient in the German language MS Office at least detailed functions.
