Broadcom expands HEVC portfolio with entry-level satellite set-top box SoCs

Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM) has announced two SoCs for entry-level satellite set-top boxes. Broadcom's BCM7364 and BCM7399 ICs support HEVC to enable operators to deliver more channels of HD content to their subscriber base over existing network infrastructure.
