The Oregon Legislature has allocated $350,000 to get exports rolling faster and cheaper again following Portland's loss of Hanjin and Hapag-Lloyd shipping companies. As a result, thousands of Oregon businesses were left scrambling to get goods to market, often through distant Washington and California ports, often by truck and at a greater cost.
