Production prices have increased at a much lower pace at Chinese plants in December, reflecting the current slowdown of the economic growth. The Purchasing Manager Index has also fallen below 50, indicating that pessimism is now prevailing in the manufacturing sector. Textile prices have also less risen in December whereas apparel exports have dropped in November for the first time since May. Our statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.
