Come and join our team and help us to identify and manage international business partners for our future space missions. EUMETSAT, the European meteorological satellite agency is looking to recruit a Contracts Officer. Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, we observe the atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces from space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We want you to come and join our team that will shape the suppliers and components supporting our satellite programmes. With a legal background and experience of managing sophisticated international contracts or transactions in the aerospace or other high technology products, you will see the impact of your contribution to our missions. You will be capable of understanding complex requirements and be able to turn concepts into clear contractual text. You will be experienced in negotiating and engaging partners, gaining their cooperation in the procurement and the commercial management of EUMETSATs specifications. Our work is groundbreaking, so an understanding of IPR law would be an advantage. This is a fastmoving environment and you will be at the heart of it.
