Digital Colony buys Digita, says well placed to move into adjacent markets

(Telecompaper) Investment firm Digital Colony said that one of its affiliates has signed a binding agreement to acquire 100 percent of Finnish operator Digita from First State Investments. Digita is the owner and operator of the premier nationwide digital terrestrial television (DTT) and radio broadcasting tower infrastructure network in Finland and was founded in 1999 as a spin-off from national broadcaster Yle.
