E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

2018-05-25 20:21:58| EmergingTextiles.com

EU clothing imports have fallen in March, probably due to the change in holiday dates, however clearly recovering over the first quarter this year, thanks to a rebound of the euro from the same period a year earlier. China has continued losing market shares whereas Bangladesh was taking advantage of significantly lower unit prices this year, at least in euro terms. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
