Electricity from sugar mills

This is with reference to a news story recently published in newspapers, that government is utilizing all its efforts towards generation of electricity from all means and resources available in Pakistan. According to the statement of State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, government is holding talks with 25 sugar mills out of 106 in the country, to add 1500 to 2000 MW electricity to national grid.
