Design, analysis, hardware and software development of satellite guidance, navigation, and control GNC systems, or specifically GNC design Planning and design for a satellite navigation, guidance, and control system. GNC analysis Conduct analyses for the verification and validation for the above system. GNC hardware design, development, procurement, and testing For navigation sensors e.g., small radars and cameras design, development, specification tuning and design reviews with manufacturers, performance verification, and integration and testing with the satellite system For attitude control sensors e.g., sun sensors, geomagnetic sensors, star trackers and actuators e.g., reaction wheels, magnetic torquers, propulsion systems selection and procurement, specification tuning and desgin reviews with vendors, performance verification, and integration and testing with the satellite system GNC software design, development, procurement, and testing For software on satellite navigation, guidance, and attitude and orbit control systems design, development, and testing with the satellite system Required Able to lead technical discussions and negotiations in English Japanese. Japanese English Business Level 5 years of relevant experience in simulation analysis, involving classical mechanics, mathematics, programming, data processing, etc. OR 5 years of relevant experience in mechatronics, involving electronics and programming Preferred, any of the below Able to design and review electronics components Able to use design tools for guidance and navigation such as MATLAB or LabVIEW Knowledge in optical design
