FSIS Denies CSPIs Salmonella Petition

P. Scott Shearer, Bockorny Group, Washington, D.C. USDAs Food Safety and Inspection Service has denied a petition filed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest that requested the FSIS to issue an interpretive rule declaring antibiotic-resistant strains of Salmonella to be adulterants in raw ground meat and poultry products. read more
