U.S. Environmental Protection Agency restrictions on coal-fired power generators will soon shut off the lights at the American Electric Power Kammer Plant, leading to the 27 remaining workers losing their jobs. AEP spokeswoman Carmen Prati-Miller said the remaining employees at the plant have officially been notified their services will no longer be required at the plant that has been churning out wattage along the Ohio River in Marshall County since the late 1950s.
