Flowers Foods completes Hostess acquisition

Georgia-based Flowers Foods , makers of Bunny Bread, Roman Meal and Tastykake, has completed its $355 million acquisition of the Hostess assets which includes the Wonder, Merita, Home Pride, Butternut and Nature's Pride brands as well 36 depots and 20 bakeries - including the Memphis Wonderbread bakery on Madison Avenue.
