During the quarter , Genesco performed strongly in all its segments, which somewhat assuaged my concerns regarding poor segment performance that I detailed in a prior article on the stock . The company experienced margin pressures, particularly in its Lids segment, but these should be short-term in nature if execution goes well, as GCO continues to build up Lids' presence.
