The Position We are restructuring our Ground System Control team delivering cutting edge service to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich and are looking for experienced personnel with strong ITCommunication background. This role requires shift work working in a rotating shift pattern 24X7 with lots of opportunity to train in one of the most exciting Space projects. The position is permanent and fulltime with the earliest starting date of April 2022. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties Main task of this job is to integrate into the shift service team and requires certification. The tasks would entail following tasks Ground system operations support for Spacecraft mission in shift Supporting scheduled simulations and test operations Preparation of the ground segment systems for scheduled activities, specially the Data Services System and Monitoring and Control System subsystems of scheduled preventive maintenance Work closely with the subsystem engineers to ensure that any service changes are correctly implemented and documented Oncall services might be requested. Updating and validating Ground Control Team procedure and training material After the certification, as required you will also train for the offline activities of the team to provide offline support as may be required by the Service Manager.
