Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)
2016-02-24 20:02:00| EmergingTextiles.com
Inflation rates are further rising in emerging countries, however not significantly, therefore allowing certain countries like Indonesia to lower their interest rates. The fall of domestic currencies over the last 12 months has more than offset the rise of consumer prices, in addition, meaning that emerging countries have kept their advantage in US$ terms. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar and the euro is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
