Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)
2018-07-25 18:22:31| EmergingTextiles.com
Inflation returns slowly but surely to a series of developing countries, meaning a potential rise of wages and of production costs at apparel plants, consecutively. However, the fall of emerging currencies is now erasing any loss of competitiveness which could have been triggered by higher consumer prices. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
