Specific Tasks Under the authority of the Head of Media Relations in HQ, the specific tasks of this service will include Support media requests interviews, filming requests, background research, local visits, etc. Organise and support media events Provide continuous feedback on evolution in ESAs programmes Support the media training requirements Maintain and update the Calendar of relevant communication activities related to media. Monthly report of activities Maintain and update the ESA Web sites Media section Maintain and update the teamsite Maintain and update the Media Relations database Other activities and support as required The role also entails occasional media support for German astronauts in liaison with EAC, under the authority of the Head of Media Relations. The service follows closely the OPS programme, participating in elaborating and taking a principal role in implementing the media outreach strategy. Requirements Masters degree from a recognised Institute of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Businesss Administration or relevant discipline Good communication skills Experience in media relations at international level Sound experience in events organization Experience with international organisations
