Oil IT Journal talked to Roxar Software Solutions MD Kjetil Fagervik about the new Roxar API. Roxar's Python API, which replaces Dot Rox and the RMS OpenAPI, lets users assemble cross-platform workflows and apps using NumPy and SciPy libraries. Roxar claims vendor-independence for the API which leverages Energistics' ResqML data exchange standard. The platform provides a basis for strategic 'big loop' application development.
