We are currently looking for an Optomechanics Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Optomechanics Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer offers freespace laser communication solutions for data transmission between flight platforms, such as unmanned aerial vehicles UAVs, aircraft, highaltitude platforms HAPs, and from flight platforms to the ground. You will support the transitioning of their systems towards series manufacturing. You responsibilities will include Work in close cooperation with the engineering team to transition the systems towards series manufacturing, with a focus on optomechanical systems Close cooperation with procurement to optimize cooperation with the suppliers Effectively use the experience of the suppliers to achieve cost effective and high quality manufacturing. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline, majoring in mechanics, electromechanics, or electrical engineering Profound professional experience in product development of optomechanical systems A good understanding of manufacturing processes Teamplayer with good communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
