With PoE Ethernet Extenders, power can be deployed to remote devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points up to 10,000 ft away via copper wiring. VDSL-based units feature built-in Power Sourcing Equipment controller that is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af standards, and can tell through signal detection whether or not attached Ethernet device is PoE capable. Extenders can operate in commercial or industrial grade environments ranging from -40 to 167°F.
