Stability prevails in the polyester chain in Asia with prices staying rather unchanged on the PTA and MEG markets in the past week, ahead of the long weekend in China. July MEG contract have been nominated at lower levels by leading global suppliers. Demand is expected to remain strong from fiber producers.
