ispace Japan is seeking an experienced propulsion engineer to support the mechanical design of the propulsion pipework. ispace is a leading microrobotics Japanese company with a subsidiary in the United States and Europe. ispaces Hakuto rover won the Google XPRIZE mobility milestone award. ispaces lunar lander is its next step towards prospecting for, mining and utilizing lunar resources to expand human presence in space. The ideal candidate will have experience of propulsion physical layout definition including pipework accommodation and component. They should have a strong experience in CAD software, be experienced at performing trade studies and be capable of overseeing build activities. The candidate should also be able to perform preliminary stress analysis to aid in quick assessment of propulsion support structure.
