Publix buys Winter Park shopping center for $24.8M

Publix Super Markets Inc. bought the nearly 120,000-square-foot Hollieanna Shopping Center it anchors in Winter Park for $24.8 million. The Lakeland-based grocery chain on Oct. 10 spent $24.8 million to buy three parcels totaling 8.7 acres on U.S. Highway 17-92 south of Fairbanks Avenue from Terre Haute, Ind.-based The Oakley Corp., Orange County records showed.
