Software Engineer Deadline for submission to Client 08122021 Job Description We are looking for a Software Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Immenstaad, Germany. The Simulation Modeling division comprises departments in the UK, France and Germany and represents a core competence for simulator development, onboard SW testing and technical SW product development for spacecraft platforms, payloads and equipment. In the area of simulators, the department is responsible for producing the infrastructure that enables successful spacecraft avionics programs. There are a number of existing and new innovative projects that require software engineering skills and shape the design of highquality software and new products. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Definition of a network system architecture Software development Definition of network routing and switching protocols Technical interface to the customer. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification Previous relevant work experience of at least 5 years Experience in C development Experience in the area of telecom systems mobile systems, data networks is required Experience in software architecture and development Experience in Space System Modeling Spacecraft Constellations Experience dealing with customers and suppliers Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical people Knowledge in functional space system modeling spacecraftsatellite constellations, telecom systems mobile systems, data networks, switching and routing protocols, optical and radar communication systems is desirable Experience with functional space system simulation tools STK, discrete network event simulators omnet, ns3 as well as experience in operating system programming Linux, Windows 64 is an advantage German at least business fluent English at least business fluent Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information the ability to integrate into a team high level of responsibility, ability to work under pressure and organizational skills.
