Telespazio Belgium is currently looking for a Space ICT Technician to support currently implemented following the operational concepts applied to the small satellites operated in ESEC. What is expected from you First and second level maintenance includes in particular the following tasks Provide support to the users during operational activities Technical interface with external entities like Internet Service Provider Proximus Performance monitoring Problem logging, reporting and resolution with the aim of minimising the downtime Updatereplacement of existing systems Provide oncall support and overtime when required by ESA Provide support to the users during operational activities Technical interface with external entities like DELL Computer and network performances monitoring Problem logging, reporting and resolution with the aim of minimising the downtime, Updatereplacement of existing systems Develop software improvement according to user requirements Provide support during implementation of system updates, both hardware and software Organize and manage system backups as required Advice on any future computer systems proposed Maintain an adequate supply of computer spares and consumables as discussed and agreed with ESA Show a proactive attitude, foreseeing potential problems or future requirements and advise the relevant team responsible for the precautions or developments to be undertaken Provide on call support and overtime when required by ESA Replacement and reconfiguration of equipment as required Propose a maintenance plan and update it as required based on and aligned with the inputs from S2P Data centre Manager, DC ICT andor OPSO MOI. Perform all preventive maintenance actions according to the preventive maintenance program, in accordance with the maintenance procedures Complete preventive maintenance reports for each action performed and issue the reports in accordance with the procedures Perform specific measurements on equipment parameters in accordance with the procedures and report such measurements in accordance with the procedure What you offer Be eligible to obtain a Personal Security Clearance up to ESA SECRET and equivalent, which will be requested by the Agency, having such clearence would be a plus Relevant Experience of minimum 10 Years Technical degree Bsc, Diploma or equivalent from a recognised Institution or equivalent Fluent in English, both in speech and writing. Other ESA language skills would be a plus Ability and availability to travel.
