Suedzucker Profit Dips On Weak Sugar Results; Backs Cautious Forecast - Update

German sugar producer Suedzucker AG (SUEZF.PK) reported Thursday a sharp decline in second-quarter profit as revenues were hurt by weak performances in most its segments, mainly sugar. Looking ahead, the company projects lower results in its third quarter and fiscal 2015, citing that the business situation in the European sugar and ethanol markets has worsened.
