Position Reference 778 You will have the opportunity to carry out tasks which contribute to activities typically related to Phase CID of a space programme in the area of system design engineering, Integration, Verification and Validation, Operation preparation and performance budget management. You will provide service to the Sentinel6JasonCS project, with potential support to other LEO programmes. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General contribution to system engineering activities, for example Documentation of system design and interfaces. Contribute to system integration, verification and validation activities Contribute to operation preparation activities. Contribute to the technical coordination with Partners. Contribute to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews and key points. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks without supervision. You have at least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering, architectural design and system preparation for launch You have demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective You have the capability to prepare documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience in earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of nearreal time data processing or spacecraft control systems You have experience in space and ground system engineering processes and standards.
