(Telecompaper) Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) has received applications from four telecoms interested in bidding for 2.6 GHz spectrum, Taipei Times reports. The 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz tender is scheduled for launch in October. Interested operators have until 4 September to submit their applications, post a TWD 1 billion (approximately USD 30.52 million) bond, and pay a TWD 1 million application review fee. The list of qualified bidders is expected to be released by end-September or the beginning of next month, the commission said.
