A fantastic opportunity has just arisen to become part of our team at Europes impressive Space Agency ESA based in Darmstadt, Germany. Working for Thorn SDS, the key candidate will be responsible for the developing, planning, and delivering critical training programmes in support of our 247 shift and day staff operating the ESA satellite ground station and supporting IT and telecommunication networks. If you are an experienced technical trainer with firsthand knowledge and experience of running technical training programmes, from requirement identification and course specification, through planning and scheduling, to course delivery and are looking for an exciting opportunity to expand your experience in an expert and professional environment then please apply today. Applicants shall have Excellent knowledge of systems engineering, preferably gained in a Satellite ground station andor IT network operations environment along with an aptitude to undertake technical training yourself and to produce and deliver training courses from that learning. Excellent skills in creating presentations, documentation, and learning material for groups and for onetoone training. A university degree in Electronic engineering, IT, Telecommunications or related discipline along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and provided structured training. A demonstrated working knowledge of systems engineering in either satellite ground stations, IT, or telecommunications. All candidates shall have a good working knowledge of English, both spoken and written along with proficient IT skills e.g. Powerpoint, Project and Word All applicants must be eligible to work in Germany.
