U.S. Plastic Recycling Volumes Top 5.1 Billion Pounds in 2024, New Industry Study Finds

The 2024 U.S. Post-Consumer Plastic Recycling Study found that at least 5.1 billion pounds of post-consumer plastic generated in the United States were recovered for recycling in 2024, an increase of 114.9 million pounds from the previous reporting period in 2022.
