A 47-year-old United Parcel Service employee has died from injuries he sustained after being struck by a truck Thursday night in West Sacramento. Both the West Sacramento Police Department and the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration have launched investigations into the incident, which occurred at about 9:15 p.m. at the UPS customer center on Shore Street, south of Interstate 80.
