You could make the case for CenturyLink buying Rackspace if you don't mind that the buyer is riddled with the debt and prospects for the seller aren't all that rosy. At first cursory glance, when news broke over the weekend that CenturyLink was weighing a bid for Rackspace , a deal sort of made sense.
