With high-power X-ray source and compact sanitary drum motors that drive conveyor, Xpert C400 is suited for thick, dense, and/or high speed production, helping food processors meet stringent foreign object detection goals. In addition to detecting metal, glass, and dense plastics, system can analyze X-ray image to estimate weight and fill or determine whether packaged item has missing objects. Xpert C400 meets IP65 requirements for dust and washdown and operates from 5–40°C.
