Analyst, Enterprise Effectiveness Luxembourg Betzdorf The Enterprise Effectiveness team sits within the Finance department and has as its objectives to identify and lead enterprise effectiveness and business performance improvement initiatives across SES, to act as project manager in groupwide programs and projects and to conduct business process reviews. The team assists the wider organisation in the implementation of key elements of the SES strategy at a time of considerable change in the market environment. The role of Analyst, Enterprise Effectiveness involves providing analytical support to the team on different projects. This can consist of problem definition, root cause analysis and issue based problem solving, analysis of data, financial analysis, project management and process design. The exact nature of the projects will vary and can range from enterprise wide or crossfunctional initiatives to topics such as reengineering specific processes. Over time, we expect that the successful candidate will increasingly take full end to end ownership of specific initiatives. This role is unique in that it will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of issues across most functions within the SES organisation. The work will have impact as it will be used for senior level decision making and it provides a strong foundation for future career opportunities within SES. Your responsibilities Analyse business issues and identify the root causes Develop hypotheses to solve these issues and define and gather the type of information needed to arrive at a recommendation Collect, clean and aggregate data. Although this may cover a number of types of information, there will be a strong focus on financial data Analyse data sets using Excel Support projects and administer project cycles e.g. define project roles, timelines, status and output reports and resolve issues to ensure target outcomes are achieved Implement recommendations through Project Management of projects and assisting with applicable tasks including process design Collaborate with business stakeholders, in particular Human Capital and Financial Controlling, to gather data or jointly deliver projects Support the VP Enterprise Effectiveness in preparing presentation material and analysis for senior management Your competencies Focused on the outcome first and the process second Selfstarting with a developed sense of initiative and tenacity Willingness to learn across a variety of projects. This requires adaptability, energy and enthusiasm in the face of uncertainty and time pressure Strong analytical skills Able to interpret and draw insights from data to understand its exact meaning and limitations Strong attention to detail Excellent project management skills Your qualifications experience Undergraduate or Masters degree in Business from a reputable university At least three to five years of Management Consulting or Internal Consulting experience Finance experience will be considered an asset International experience is preferred Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Fluency in written and spoken English. Mission Analyst System Architect Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Mission Analyst System Architect you will support the Functional Avionics and GNC department in developing space systems as well as planning of space missions with respect to mission analysis and GNC system aspects during the entire life cycle Development of simulators and the optimization of mission parameters and trajectories Evaluation, development, selection, verification and testing of adequate hardware for navigation and guidance of a spacecraft Conduct mission and GNC performance simulations Design of controllers for space robotics applications Defining requirements for sensor and actuating elements for inorbit servicing Support to multibody dynamics simulation including contact dynamics. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree in engineering or astrophysics Experience with production techniques Experience with space flight mechanics space systems with focus on control systems Knowledge of Control designMatlab English is mandatory, German an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
