Junior SOC Analyst

You will have the opportunity to work as a Junior SOC Analyst for our client based in Luxembourg supporting their activities in Cyber Security. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will act as the first line of response regarding the potential occurrence of a cyber attack or security incident. You will be working using several automated tools such as intrusion detection systems, log correlation engines and SIEM, ticketing system, alerts and warning from internal and external sources, You will receiving, triaging and responding to alerts, requests and reports, and analysing events and potential incidents and to provide the primary support for incident responders. You will assess whether a security incident or the level of exposure of a vulnerability is a true or false positive, tagging the vulnerability or incident with an initial severity classification and to activate the corresponding incident response playbook entry. You will follow predefined procedures to perform technical tasks related to identity and access management. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or Mathematics STEM discipline from an accredited university You have at least 1 year of experience as a SOC Analyst or a firstline incident responder. You have at least 1 year of working experience in networking technology TCPIP, SNMP, DNS etc You have knowledge in the security analysis of firewall, proxy,and IDS logs You have knowledge in the security analysis of Applicable or Middleware logs Oracle, Apache, Weblogic You have experience in using SIEM Arcsight ESM 6.x, QRADAR, or equivalent You have experience in Log management solution Arcsight Loggers andor QRADAR andor Splunk or equivalent How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? Location ESOC, Darmstadt, Germany Description Mission Analyst in the Mission Analysis Section, Flight Dynamics Division, Ground Systems Engineering Department, Directorate of Operations. Reporting to the Head of Section, the postholder will participate in mission analysis activities for future mission studies, spacecraft and ground segment design and operations preparation. This encompasses terrestrial, interplanetary and librationpoint missions. The emphasis is on orbit analysis and related fields, such as tradingoff orbit selection, optimising lowhighthrust rocket propulsion trajectories including ascent, computing atmospheric entry trajectories, launch windows, fuel budget analysis, predicting orbitderived data, orbit determination and navigation analysis, analysing satellite constellations and formation flight. Duties These will include performing and coordinating mission analysis activities in support of projects and mission studies developing and maintaining generic mission analysis methods and software participating in developing generic flight dynamics software developing projectspecific mission analysis tools technical managing of mission analysis work packages carried out by contract firms specifying and managing study and development contracts supporting projects by participating in tender evaluations and reviews of industrial contracts.
