FedEx employee killed in early morning accident

Memphis police are investigating the death of an employee at the FedEx Shipping Center in the 2900 block of Sprankle Drive near Democrat Road. A FedEx spokesman said the worker died around 5 a.m. Sunday in what they are describing as a transportation-related accident.
