Next week crews will continue to video inspect sewer lines on SE Hawthorne Boulevard. Final paving of trenches currently patched with temporary asphalt has been re-scheduled for the week of February 1.

Economic Joint Powers Board Members worked with CAEDA to get a grant to build a new sewer infrastructure project for Nalco Fabtech LLC. Nalco Fabtech employs about 150 people, they want to get up to 200, but to do that, they needed a new sewer line. "The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality or DEQ let them know that they needed to expand their sewer system so they can handle that capacity of the new facilities and the new employment base", Noelle Reed with CAEDA said.

Hollywood/Grant Park Sewer and Stormwater Update

The maps posted at www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/article/552546 show the anticipated construction schedule for the next three weeks and through March. Work in each area will take a few weeks to complete and there may be periods of inactivity between construction phases. The contractor will apply temporary pavement after completing pipe installation in all work areas. Final paving and restoration will take place at a later time as weather allows.

Sellwood-Moreland Sewer Rehab Project Construction Update: January 14, 2016

Environmental Services is repairing or replacing about 25,000 feet of public sewer pipes in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood and in Eastmoreland that are between 60 and 100 years old and deteriorating due to age. This project will help protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of costly breaks, leaks, blockages and sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
