About the Department The Galileo Services Department is in charge of managing the exploitation phases of the Galileo Programme. The exploitation phase started with the provision of the socalled Initial Services in 2016, followed by the Galileo Systems infrastructure transferred from European Space Agency to the GSA through EC mid2017, being directly managed by the GSA.
