A family and community are mourning and searching for solutions after a 5-year-old boy was hit and killed by a train Sunday. Sesia Rivera sent her son, daughter and nephew down from their apartment to play Sunday evening at the Diamond Fork playground, visible from her apartment window.

Coast Central program awards $50K in community grants

Four community grants totaling $50,000 were recently awarded by Coast Central Credit Union. To date, the credit union has awarded $700,000 to 56 worthwhile community organizations, according to a press release.
