We are looking for systems designers, analysts, technical architects, system integrators, and verification and validation experts. Experience in one or more of the following functional areas of the EO payload data ground systems Level 012 data processing systems EO data archiving and dissemination systems EO data calibration and validation systems EO data quality control quality assurance systems. 2. Experience of working on ground systems for operational Earth observation or meteorological space missions, in one or more of the following disciplines Requirements analysis System analysis and design Subsystem specification and design Systemsubsystem implementation System integration Verification and Validation. Highly desirable Experience of working on the ESAESRIN Earth Observation payload data ground systems, e.g. for missions such as Envisat, ESA Earth Explorers, or the Copernicus Sentinels. Task Descriptions Development in particular the verification and validation of the Instrument Data Processing Facility IDPF Being able to use the Payload Data Generator PDG Responsible for software development for the PDG. In particular will be in charge of the analysis, coding and testing algorithms. Simulating the impact of the overall MTG data acquisition chain encompassing the geometric, radiometric and spectral deformations as well as a few ones like spatial resamplingremapping and data fusion functions.
