AOI Systems offer high-speed handling.
2014-06-13 14:32:53| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Available for S3088 family of inspection systems, FastFlow Transport helps optimize throughput and shorten cycle time in electronics manufacturing. With synchronous input/output of electronic assemblies, high-speed transport facilitates changeovers in as little as 2 seconds. Depending on requirements, different sensor modules are used, from orthogonal views through angled views, including up to high-precision 3D analysis. High-Speed Duplicators make copies of M2, SSD, or HDD media.
2014-06-13 14:32:53| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Operating without computer or complex software, M2/SSD/HDD Duplicators make multiple copies of M2 (NGFF) SSD or 2.5 in. SATA HDD/SSD media from single master drive. Each comes bundled with 2.5 in. M2 flash drive kit that turns M2 card into 2.5 in. SATA SSD. Users can mix and match M2 (NGFF) SSD, 2.5 in. SSD, or standard SATA hard drives into duplicator for transferring content between multiple media formats. With snap-in drive bays, drives can be added/removed without special tools. NASA installs space laser on the ISS, uses it to transmit high-speed data back to Earth
2014-06-09 18:28:42| Extremetech
NASA has successfully completed the first test of the International Space Station's new OPALS laser communications system. OPALS links the ISS to an observatory here on Earth at very high speeds (around 50 megabits per second), allowing for the real-time transmission of high-resolution video among other things. This is orders of magnitude faster than existing radio-based links, and is a significant step forward for future space exploration.
