The Ministry of Economic Affairs said Saturday that it expects Japanese and Taiwanese companies to invest as much as NT$15 billion in joint ventures that will forge closer business ties between the two countries. The Taiwanese delegation visited a group of Japanese enterprises in the financial, petrochemical, semiconductor, Internet and biotech sectors, the MOEA said.
