000 ABPZ20 KNHC 200518 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Tue Sep 19 2017 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center has issued the last advisory on Post-Tropical Cyclone Norma, located a few hundred miles west of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. A large area of disturbed weather associated with a broad area of low pressure is located a few hundred miles southeast of Acapulco, Mexico. Conditions are favorable for a tropical depression to form by the weekend while this system moves west-northwestward very near the southern coast of Mexico. A broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles southeast of Acapulco, Mexico, is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear conducive for development of this system, and a tropical depression could form by the weekend while it moves slowly west-northwestward near the coast of Mexico.
