Inventure Foods sets reopen date for plant closed due to Listeria

Phoenix-based Inventure Foods Inc. is close to reopening one of its plants after a recall of some its products temporary shut the plant down and cost the company $15.9 million. Inventure closed the Georgia plant that manufactures and packages frozen food products for its Fresh Frozen brand in April when Listeria monocytogenes were found in the facility.

Babcock & Wilcox board sets spin-off date

The company will enact a two-for-one stock split after 5 p.m. June 30. Half will be shares in the new company, and half will be shares in the successor corporation. They will be distributed to current shareholders, one share in each company for each share the investor holds in the current B&W.
