Tasks and Responsibilities The MultiIncrement Payload Planning Engineer shall perform the following main tasks Support to HDOICP in monthly review and extraction of discussion points from Payload Integration Manager reports and schedules in preparation for Integration Control Board Maintenance of the unallocated payload matrix Responsible for Cold Stowage planning, implementation, submittal and IP interface Support in the preparation of the integrated payload contribution to the Mission Impact SPRs Action Plan Collect payload resources table and maintain overall resource table at multiincrement level Support the ESA payload CoFR Support PIMs in generation of PTP tables and CEFs and review IDRD Annex 5 Support in developing IP agreements e.g. PIAs Integration of the PIM schedules inputs into an overall schedule and perform criticalityrisk analysis Support ESA in adhoc multilateral integration meetings telecons. Requirements A university degree MSc or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science biology, medicine, physics, chemistry discipline Demonstrated widespread experience in aerospace or human spaceflight activities management, including development, integration an onorbit operations activities of complex payloads A proven experience in interfacing with partners in an international environment is an asset A strong aptitude for relationship management as well as good communication skills The post requires a resultorientated approach to work in a highly complex project environment A strong capacity for planning and organising tasks Fluency in English is required, knowledge of another ESA member state language and or Russian is an asset Strong experience and a deep level of expertise working with the following payloads Airway Monitoring, PPFS, Circadian Rhythms, PFS, Energy, Ared Kinematics, MARES, SARCOLAB3, Patterns, HAPTICS1.
