Description As a member of the FLO Mission Control Systems team, the Key Person shall provide support to the development and operation of the MSG Ground Segment and the EPS Overall Ground System OGS. Main duties are the operation of the MSG Central Facility CF and the EPS Mission Control System MCS, and supporting operational use of Mission Control Facility MCF Tools and the mission controlrelated multimission tools. The role comprises a range of tasks including the provision of support to the routine operation of the MCS, and the interfaces between the MCS and other components of the EPS Core Ground Segment CGS. The Key Person will be responsible for the definition andor maintenance of the routine operations procedures pertaining to the operation of the MCS and these interfaces, in accordance with the established EUMETSAT Operations Department configuration management and quality assurance practices. In addition, the Key Person will acquire and maintain a Systemwide view of the MSG System, and the EPS CGS and OGS, particularly in the areas of system monitoring control and data flows, due to the central role the CF and MCS play in the MSG and EPS Systems.
